Ridge POV
So tired after working on that one girl with Robynne. She was right —it was easier once I joined my hands on top of hers. But I was beyond exhausted by the time we had done what we could for the girl. We hadn't finished; some toxin was still inside of her, but at least the wolf was now connected, and she could start healing the girl. We will have to return to her at some stage, but for now, we both needed food and rest.
Food was waiting, and beds had been brought in. I fell asleep before my head even hit the pillow, but what shocked me the most was how good I felt when I woke up. You would think I had a whole night's sleep, I was that rested. We ate again, and I headed to the bathroom, washed my face, and did my business.
