"That girl had gotten under your skin in only one day." Chuckled Caleb, as he sat with Hudson and me in my room. We talked about the day and evening events, and then we headed out to the balcony to enjoy the evening chill before bed. We had started doing it a few months ago.
"She evokes my protective instincts, but it was obvious she doesn't need me to protect her," I replied as honestly as I could. We had always shared a special bond, a natural team, that would one day take over the pack.
