Robynne POV The grounds are lovely, and I'm looking forward to enjoying my time here. For the first time since I was sent away from home, I felt at peace, knowing I could unwind and find my true self. Maybe this was what Dad was trying to say: that being in our pack was holding me back from finding my true self. I had no clue what he was talking about, which I found unfair. But I didn't resist his order to go. At dinner, I could feel all the eyes on me, judging me. I resisted the urge to hear their thoughts; I didn't want anything to spoil my inner peace, which I had found in the garden. I ate with gusto, my wolf challenged me to try foods she said smelled good, and she wanted a taste. I found it amusing that she could taste foods even when not in wolf form.
