Ridge POV Robynne ate like she hadn't eaten in months. I was quietly impressed that she finished the plate. I got the impression she had filled it without thought, and even surprised her. But with all the grace she could muster, she ate the lot. I have to agree, Robynne should have stayed home, watching her in the limo, talking to the king, and then guiding her to my office, but she felt off. Even with all the blocks she had put up, I still felt some slip through, and it worried me that she was so low, so lost, and I could do nothing about it.
