The grass was wet with the rain from before and made mild splashing sounds whenever walked on upon. There wasn't a concrete path or way to navigate through the cemetery. Some of the graves were very old, others relatively new but none of them dated of the recent times. If it was up to me, I would speculate that not many would have visited the cemetery or even remember about it for the time being. Unless this was a regularly travelled path. What was I even expecting? An awake man with his watchdog waiting for our arrival to warn us of the dangers of visiting a cemetery at midnight?
