I opened my eyes to a white ceiling above. The room wasn't big one but looked like home. The strong sunlight was held back from entering the room by thick curtains. I was happy about that else I might have vaporized right in my sleep. I could hear the busy street behind the window. Where was I? How did I get here? Had Rome found me by any chance? The last thing I remember was breaking into a boutique and grabbing a few accessories to blend into the humans. Just a coat, a hat, a scarf, some dark shades, fancy gloves and some thick stockings. Most of it was of no use to me during night but an essential during day. My neck snapped in the direction of the sound of door cracking open and revealing a young man who had the slightest similarities to Rome, like he was somehow related to him. The
