We were almost halfway across the river when I looked over my shoulder at the swirling of the dark, thunderclouds hovering over the bank of the river. It hadn't crossed the river. The mist had covered the entire area, leaving it in complete darkness. And I swear I could see some gruesome faces made up of the mist floating around. I couldn't help but shrugged the chillness that had gripped my spine at the things I was witnessing and the fear of my life took over my entire being making me swim faster towards the other side.
