Amber “Welcome to Starhaven, Amber,” Carlton says with a beaming smile as we exit the limo. I look up at the tall ornate skyscraper. It’s like a golden beacon in the sun. I had heard the Night Star had several lucrative businesses; I just didn’t realize how lucrative. “Do you like it?” Carlton nudges me. I glance at him. Ever since I have met him, I have felt uncomfortable in his presence. It felt like everything he said was a lie or an act. I can’t help but feel he has an ulterior motive for bringing us here. “It’s nice.” Carlton scoffs loudly and looks at Skylar, “Nice, he mutters to my mate. Skylar and Tyler look anywhere but at me. “Let’s go in, shall we,” Carlton gestures, and we walk into the front door. The lobby is every bit as impressive as the outside of the building
