Fifty-Eight Hook     My daughter had tricked me. Tricked me, and stabbed me, and now I was in the last place that I should have been. The Faerie Palace. I woke to find not my daughter, but Oberon, in the room watching me. He sat in a chair across from the bed that I was in with a bored, haughty expression on his face.     “You know your daughter tells me that you and Emma have what’s called true love,” he said, “I don’t believe it.”     I rolled my eyes, grunting from the pain that still pierced my body from when I’d been stabbed.
