Louisa Endless
Someone was coming through the Gate. They were coming immediately after Nia and me. “Do you think Inanna changed her mind?” I asked. “Should we be worried?” Nia’s eyes widened, and she looked as lost as I did.
The Gate opened, and it revealed my brother.
Bradley. With my niece trailing behind him.
“Brother!” I exclaimed.
“Louisa!” he exclaimed.
We ran towards each other and hugged. With the world disappearing, I was relieved to see that Bradley was alive. My brother had a number of enemies. There was always the chance that someone was going to come after him any time that he stepped into Faerie. He’d disappeared for five years the last time that he’d gone. I didn’t want anything else to happen to him.
