Chapter 30 The Sad Truth

Alliah almost fell down after the doctor handed her the result of all her laboratories. Her illness didn't dessipated. It bacame worst.

She almost cried seeing the results that aside from the removal of her upper colon last surgery, she might be needing to undergo under surgery soon.

There were fibroids in her ovaries and had an umbilical hernia now. Her doctor said that her hernia was due to carrying heavy objects during her recovery. She was advised before not to carry beyond 3 kilos since her surgery was still not yet fully healed inside her colon, but as her job needed her to carry ample stocks during her field work , she can't help but did it..

"Is there anything we can do it about it doctor aside from doing another surgery?" Alliah asked her doctor.

Dr. Malambut saw how sad Alliah was. He was even sad after the result came out. He pitied this lady Infront of him. He knew how strong woman she was but seeing her this sad, he felt that he wanted to comfort.her.

"We will conduct a colonoscophy first with you so that we can validate the results. We need to check all the parts of your abdomen if there's still fibroids in other parts or not," he directly said to her.

"You mean doctor, there's still a possibility that there were more fibroids?" Alliah was frightened already. It might be he 4th major surgery just in case and she's really afraid of it. She's thinking if can make it again this time. Her last surgery took her more the one a half year recovery.

Alliah sobs.

Dr. Malambut can't help but to hug Alliah. He wanted to comfort her. If only he can totally heal her, he would. Being her doctor is his profession but seeing her like this, he somewhat felt that Alliah is already taking a part of his heart. He wanted to protect and take care of her.

Alliah felt the warmth of Dr. Malambut's embrace and she slowly took off her arms around her.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to comfort you," Dr. Malambut explained . He doesn't want her to be aloof with him. He just can't help himself but to comfort her after seeing how she cried.

"It's okay. Thank you doctor. I hope that you are treating me professionally," Alliah knew how the doctor felt for her and she wanted to reiterate that he was her doctor and nothing else.

Alliah doesn't want to give any reasons for Jamiro to felt bad about her nor to cheat on him.

Dr. Malambut was so nice to her eversince especially after her surgery. As a woman , her instinct told her already that Dr. Malambut has feelings for her. She doesn't want that feeling of her doctor grows more that's why she's informing him already of their professional relationship .

"I'm sorry again Alliah," Dr. Malambut saw the initial reaction of her patient and he doesn't want her to distant to him. He had a special feelings for her and he wanted to confess with her soon. Not in this situation an not in his clinic. He will look forward on visiting her in her place in time.

"It's okay doc. By the way I already had a boyfriend. I know your good intention doctor but I wanted to keep our relationship as my doctor and your patient only. I want to be healed by your professional hands . Thanks," Alliah directly told him. She doesn't want him to expect anything more aside from their doctor- patient relationship.
