"Does my hair look okay?" I asked, fluffing my freshly curled blond locks in the mirror for the third time.
"Kelly, you look stunning." My younger sister Kelsey said as she finished her makeup.
"I just want everything to be perfect for tonight." I said, fussing over my makeup next.
"You are going to have a fabulous birthday, whether you find your mate tonight or not." She encouraged me.
"But we really hope she finds her mate. We invited the entire kingdom, plus some." My mom laughed from the doorway.
