James was not happy at Tom’s incessant staring and decided to have a word.
“Tom, come to the study with me for a moment.” James made sure his voice sounded as normal as possible.
Naturally Tom was wary but finally elected not to cause a scene and left with James for the study on the second floor.
Everyone left at the table was also curious as to what James wanted to discuss with Tom.
However, there was little time to contemplate this as out of nowhere, Mrs Garcia screamed, “Bella Green, you might have won James’ heart but I will not allow you to marry him. It won’t be that easy!”
