“Abby isn’t your daughter you know,” Bella uttered coldly. Although James had been nice to her, she still worried that someone would take Abby away.
However, James didn’t react, he simply sighed.
“When will you tell me the truth?” he said slowly.
“I don’t know what you are talking about!”
Finally, James decided it was time to show Bella the report.
“What is this?” Bella frowned.
“It is the result of a paternity test,” James replied calmly.
“How dare you!” Bella was overwhelmed with anger. She threw the report at James.
“I trust you! I just wanted to…” James explained.
Before James could finish, Bella interrupted, “You wanted to do what? You investigated her! I never said you are her father. How could you do that?!”
