I stood frozen in the middle of a crowded room, as soon as I had seen Alpha Kai sitting at the table with the other Alphas and he had turned to face me. When he had entered outside of the pack house, to escort us inside to the room with the massive table a couple of minutes earlier, my eyes had been on Jeremy constantly.
