The next morning, I opened my eyes and felt completely at ease as soon as I inhaled the scent of Jeremy on my pillow. A small part of me was angry at herself, blaming herself for being stupid enough to have fallen into the man’s trap of seduction, while it was me that had decided to bring our relationship to the next level in the first place. I had slipped up, and now, my heart was ready to get broken by him, whenever this things what we were doing turned out to fail.
