After finally being able to mark indigo as my one true mate for the rest of my life, and not only marking her as mine, but also mixing our blood together and becoming fully mated within the same hour, I felt reborn, like a new man entirely. I felt as if I was standing on top of the world and nobody in their right mind would try to stop me from now on. I felt beyond proud, to be able to walk around, holding the hand of the woman that was walking right next to me, as we made our way toward the Alpha’s office inside the pack house of the Denali pack, ready to finally get some long-awaited answers about the chaos that had happened earlier today during the battle against the Black Blood pack, leading to the death of Alpha Dimitri and us winning the war in the end.
