Indi’s P.O.V. I felt exhilarated as I finally crossed the finish line of the 5K race. My heart was pounding in my chest while my legs felt like yellow, and I couldn’t help but spot the grass on the sidewalk and wonder how it would feel to just walk over there and lay myself down for just a minute. Other than feeling exhausted, the sense of accomplishment and pride soaring through my body was overwhelming. I couldn’t believe I had actually done it! That I had actually been able to pull it off in the end. I had set goals for myself and, more importantly, I had made it! I did it! I did it! I had just f*****g did it!
