Annabel’s POV:
I couldn't stop the tears that fell from my eyes. I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I've always had it in my mind that Nickoli's parents would hate me forever because I left their son with a broken heart, but they didn't. They loved me like their own child and that was something I needed right now. Parents. I mentally sighed. I couldn't think about my parents now, they were gone. All I could do is keep them in my heart. I had a new family that would love me like my own parents would.
"I'm here for you if you ever need anything." Mr. O'Connell whispered in my ear. I nodded and pulled away from his embrace. Mrs. O'Connell was crying beside him and he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
