“Rida was right. I should have listened to her.” I stared at the book I hadn’t done reading yet.
But I was done reading the first five pages which mainly about marking and claiming,
It ignited my interest when a familiar symbol was mentioned.
I wasn’t even thinking twice, but borrowed the book before I went out.
The symbol I saw in the book was like what I saw on my neck previously, and I was hoping I could still see it there. I first noticed the mark on my neck when I got home from the school’s holiday. I was thinking it was only some sort of bruise.
Yet, I couldn’t help but to connect what I read from what was on my neck. The similarity couldn’t easily be ignored.
The werewolf, the marking, the symbol and Rida’s ability... what’s my connection to all of them?
