“What are these for?” she asked the serving girl. “Don’t know,” the girl said. “He had them put in.” She carried Darna’s pack into the second room, which had no such set of second shutters. “If I wanted to write, I would just open the window,” Darna thought aloud. “You haven’t seen the wind and rain here, in the winter,” the girl said. “You won’t want the shutters open much.” She dropped Darna’s bag onto the floor. “They’ll have dinner in the hall, or I can bring it here to you.” Darna looked around, taking in her new situation. These were good rooms, far better than most of the chambers in Tiadun Keep had been.
