"Marnia," whimpers Norak, "Hang in there. You're going to be okay now. Our children are waiting for us back home. Let's go ahead and head back home with them, okay?" Norak whispers into Marnia's ear, trying to keep her from fading into unconsciousness. Regina's heart breaks for Norak and Marnia. She keeps hearing the sound the explosion made when it hit Marnia's wing. Her stomach turns as she realizes she failed to protect one of her own. She feels even worse when the realization of those humans, her original kind, caused this devastation.
