I sat with Khione and Benji for a few hours watching TV, but I grew tired of it. I played with my nephew, but I was feeling restless. I wanted to work in the office with Griffin. Sitting around doing nothing was uncomfortable for me. “Can we go for a walk or something?” I ask my sister.
“Sure,” Khione smiles and stands up with Benji. The pup coos, and I touch his little chin. “I bet you can’t wait to meet your boys,” She says to me.
“I sure can’t, Khione. And I am glad they’ll be close enough in age to Benji to grow up together and hopefully become friends.”
