The cry of one of my pups rouses me from my sleep. Griffin is snoring on top of me like she always does. The cry is joined by the other two. “Griffin,” I nudge my mate. “Griffin, wake up. Our pups are hungry.” She groans and slides off of me. She rubs her eyes, sits up, and starts to get up, but I hold her back. “I’ll get them,” I say to her.
“Sabre started it, didn’t she,” Griffin mumbles.
“Yep,” I laugh as I get up. The triplets are about a week old now. Griffin couldn’t stand not having them in another room, so all three slept in one crib as they didn’t like being separated. I walk over and pick up my daughter first. “You are always the instigator, aren’t you?” I kiss her forehead and walk her over to Griffin, who has her top off. I set our daughter in her arms.
