It had been three days since we brought Pearl back to alpha Drake's pack, and I had not had a moment rest. The only reprieve I had was when Ste came over. I was so happy to see him, it was like splashing my face with cold water. He looked sexy as hell as always, me wearing my 'only in the house clothes' making me slightly nervous. When he reached out at touched me though, it was magical and my wolf wanted it to never end.
However, when Pearl started to call me, I knew I had to go to her. She needed my help for everything, hardly able to walk on her own without my help. Felix had stopped over once or twice to see how she was doing, which was kind, but whenever I asked if she could use some visitors she turned them away, stating she was too tired and needed rest.
