We headed back to the jeep, I could tell that Iona was on edge, but so was I. When I saw her go in to the cabin, I was sure she would be taken from me. The whole time that she was in there, my mind could not help but think about the horrible things they could be doing to her. Torturing her, hurting her, putting her in one of those tiny f*****g silver cages that they love so much. I waited for about ten minutes and then I had had enough.
When I saw her, I knew that she was okay, but I needed to check her over to settle my wolf. It did also help the small tingles that I got by the small contact I had with her soft cheek.
