The skies were a brilliant blue dotted with puffy cotton ball clouds. The gentle waves lapped the beach behind them. The sea was a shining emerald, translucent and gleaming. A warm tropical breeze stirred the air.
Max gazed into her eyes. “With this ring, I promise to love you, for better, for worse, with all my soul and heart, I will protect you and keep you safe, we will be together forever and never ever part,” he said and slid the wedding ring onto her finger.
