Clarissa is in full blown panic as the driver sped down the busy road, overtaking cars expertly. Even if she could unlock the car doors, she couldn’t jump out at this speed. She has a baby to think of.
She took out her phone and dialled Max’s number. But for some reason, her phone was not working. There was no signal. Then she tried dialling 911 but then again her phone doesn’t seem to be working. It couldn’t make any calls at all. She has worked in an IT firm long enough to know that this man driving her car probably has a cell phone blocking device. Her phone is utterly useless with the blocking device turned on.
“What do you want?? If you want money, my husband can pay you right now, you don’t have to do this!” she said to the driver.
