I slept off and on for the next four hours. Finally, I woke up feeling better. Damien made sure I stayed well hydrated, and by lunch time, I was actually a little hungry. I kept it simple with chicken noodle soup, not wanting to upset my stomach again. "Feeling better?" Damien asked, taking my dishes. "Much. I'd take food poisoning over the flu anyway." And I wasn't even lying. "I'm going to take Bubble for a walk. I'll be back in half an hour or so." He kissed my cheek and left. I wandered back to the living room, turning on the t.v. Thankfully this ended when it did; I didn't want to disappoint him by missing our first date. Lounging on the couch, I wondered what to expect. He definitely had more experience than I did.
