Xander roared in pain, grabbing his arm like it was falling off, or perhaps he wanted to cut it off. Black ink swirled beneath his skin from the evil magic Cassius had used. We were in his room. I snuck us in through a portal but it was clear that sneaking around would have done no good. He needed help.
"I'm gonna go get mom-"
"No!" Xander hissed. "She will tell dad and he will never let us move forward!"
"Then what would you like me to do?! I cant leave you like this!" I growled back.
"It's fine, I'll be fine." He said through gritted teeth.
