Bethany.. She woke up in a cold sweat from a nightmare. Everyone had left her. When her eyes finally comprehended where she was, there was no hiding the tears. She muffled her sobs against the back of her fist, hoping no one would hear her. She wasn’t allowed to cry. She had work to do. She had to figure out how to get out of here. She was wasting time. Desperately, she tried examining the chainlink ‘walls’ of her cell, but her eyes were too blurry from her tears, so she rubbed at them fiercely, and when they kept filling up, she forced herself to her hands and knees to make her hands ‘see’ for her. “No use doing that. Nobody’s ever found a weakness in them.” Somebody called to her, but she couldn’t see who said it. Angrily, she shook the chainlink, looking for some sort of weaknes
