Doctor Summers, (or Niel, as he'd asked me to call him,) handed over my discharge papers with a smile. "You're all set to go." I nodded, tucking the papers away into the tote bag Trisha had brought me. "Anything I should watch for?" "Not really. You've healed up perfectly. However, the scar-" I waved my hand. "I don't mind it. It's fine, really." He'd tried to talk me into scar revision surgury a dozen times to remove the scar from my leg. It was big for sure, and long; it ran from the top of my thigh almost to my knee, and was reddish purple in colour. "If you're sure." "I am. Besides, I only have a scar. You should see the other guy," I smirked. Niel laughed. "Fair enough. Well, don't take this the wrong way, but I hope I don't see you for a while. At least, not as my patient."
