Grandma came and put her hands around my waist, as we waited for the answer.
"Jessica has a mild concussion and multiple bruises on her back. I would say that some of the cans of beer were full. To have caused her that bruising, luckily, there were no broken or cracked bones. She lost a lot of blood and needed a transfusion. She is also in intensive care, as she is not out of the woods yet. But I foresee no reason why she shouldn't fully recover." The doctor answered each question carefully and clearly.
