Jimmy left feeling a lot better; he was relieved that we were investigating those two, and he agreed to talk to Janice, his girlfriend. There was little more we could offer him. I cleaned up the kitchen and went out to the balcony to relax. We were going to go out for dinner, but Douglas canceled the reservation after the talk with the police. Think it rattled him more than he let on.
