Dahlia "Dahlia?" Hunter asked softly, stepping into the tent. He towered over me from behind, casting a shadow. I didn't bother acknowledging him, didn't even spare him a glance. What was the point? I could end things here and now and save us both the trouble. There was no reason to live if all we did here was suffer. Why prolong the inevitable?
