Morgan was no sooner spit out just beyond the rim of the initial gateway only to be lodged between it and the tortured surface below him. He scrambled to his feet and away from her as Shadow dove down into the darkness. His huge form was still swallowed up by the great cavity burrowing it’s way down into the core. It’s width was as large as it was deep, he thought, especially after the horrendous rage Aalish took out on the planet. What was once circular was anything but. Still, Shadow raced off into it. Aalish screeched as she chased Shadow and his trillions upon trillions of souls down into it. It was her job to eradicate them, after all.
