It had been days since Kevin saw the lady who interrupted his meeting with the triad members, but his heart and mind had never settled.
He refused her offer to give him more information about the Stark family and the supposed leverage to regain Ava. He believed he could eliminate Brandon from Ava’s life without help from anyone. Brandon would walk out of her life with his head facing down like before.
Kevin never needed anyone to help him, not with an unclear purpose. How could he trust a lady who refused to give her name at the very least? The lady was dreaming if she thought she would gain his confidence by simply appearing without a word in front of him.
