Brandon was chopping wood, so early in the morning, without a break since Ava went into labor. He was a little annoyed because he wanted to be at her side, but she didn’t want anyone with her except for her Mom and the midwife, and Dr. Tomas.
He wanted to be there, but Ava instructed everyone to stop him from entering the birthing room.
Anon tried to invite him for a drink but Brandon refused. He wanted to be sober as he wait. So–he centered his frustration on the wood stock, chopping one wood chunk after the other in the backyard.
