MARIPOSA'S POV
I spent the next four hours trying to think of the next step I have to take. I mean, I have absolutely no idea of where to start my quest. The portal is closed, the garden is gone, I don't really have anyone to put me through this. Dexter is not ready to teach me anything and I don't think Xavier knows anything about my quest.
I got tired of thinking inside so I went outside to the garden. It was already so late that I could see the flickering lights of the fire flies. I laid down on the grass and closed my eyes. Maybe nature will let me concentrate more. I reopened my eyes when I heard the sound of cars driving in. I wanted to rush to whoever just arrived but I decided to stay where I was. I shouldn't let that distract me.
I kept my eyes closed in my sleeping position
