“The always say to never mix business with pleasure and I learned to appreciate this statement in my first months in college. I had been tempted with the forbidden fruit that was my resident advisor. He was everything I never thought I would find appealing, and yet he had made me feel alive when I felt the most hopeless. But it was a forbidden rule to be in a relationship with another student while holding the title of “resident advisor”. It made me crazy as I found myself confused between following the guidelines, my heart, and my head. I wanted nothing more than to forget about rules for once and go with what my body wanted. But my body became confused with my morals...and this was only the tip of the iceberg for college.”
