Chapter Twenty Eight Llandry was not surprised to find no trace either of her grandfather or Mags in Waeverleyne. She couldn’t really blame them for removing themselves from the city, since there wasn’t much else that her grandfather could have done in the later stages of the battle. But she might have respected him more if he had tried. She spent the next few hours in a fever of impatience, missing Pensould sorely.
