LIAM’S POINT OF VIEW CONTINUED
7:30 am came quick. I was able to get out of bed and shower without waking Aria, which I’m glad about because she could use the rest. Yesterday was brutal for her, and it felt like my heart was being ripped out. I get myself ready and make my way to my office. My first call is at 7:50 am to Aria’s parents.
*Ring... Ring... Ring*
Rayna: Hello.
Me: Hi, Rayna. It’s Liam.
Rayna: Is Aria okay?
Me: Yes, she's fine. I’m actually not calling about Aria. Is it possible to put me on speakerphone so I can speak to both you and Marlow? You both need to hear what I have to say.
Rayna: Uhhh... Sure, just a second.
[30 seconds later]
Marlow: Liam, we’re both here.
Me: Good. So I have something big to talk to you both about.
Marlow: Is Aria okay?
Me: She’s fine.
