Klaus' POV The minute I entered the departure lounge, I knew things were never going to be the same. "Good afternoon passengers. This is the boarding call for flight 44B to Mystic Falls. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Thank you." That was my cue. I gathered my belongs and joined the queue. With my suitcase in hand, I made it through security and boarded the plane. I found a seat by the window, sat down and tried to distract myself from the pain of my aching heart by reading. Flipping through the pages of the magazine found in the pocket of the seat, my eyes landed on a article of two best friends with an inserted picture of them hugging. Suddenly, my eyes started getting all misty. I took a deep breath and wiped away the tears, before they could even fall.
