She shook her head, her eyes closing as the tears kept falling. "You are not the Klaus I once knew...."
'Please don't say it.' Nic begged.
I held my breath, I don't know where this is going and it is scaring the crap out of me.
"Why did you never tell me any of this before?" Her head turned to me with great sorrow in her eyes.
My hands started trembling as I stood frozen, unable to move my thoughts running wild with fear of what she might say next. "Because I didn't want it to scare you.... I didn't want you scare of me." My words were a whisper as I tried holding her gaze but her eyes fell shut, tears rolling down her face as she started sobbing.
