I nod as she vanishes. I feel the tingling, stinging, burning sensation intensifying from the amulet, I hear whispers 'The time has come, the time is now.' I squeeze it tightly feeling an undeniable, unexplainable energy pulsing through my veins, unlike anything I've ever felt before. It's showtime.
I inhale and slowly exhale getting back into character. My face droops, my lips curve downward, my eyes becoming misty once again. I stand, slightly shaken, barely able to straighten my posture. I turn to face Klaus with the necklace tightly clutched in my trembling left hand.
