“Mom! Dad” I called out as I continued banging on their door. “We need to talk!”
A fustrated groan met my ears as the door slowly opened and they both walked out to meet me in the hallway.
“What’s it, Lee?”
I took in dad’s shirtless frame, shaking my head at the conspicuous sweat beams littering his forehead, and of course, mom’s failure to control her un-rhythmic breathing.
Dad’s eyebrow arched in anticipation of a response.
I rolled my eyes, wishing I was still an innocent little girl who just thought her parents were exercising in their room. “Don’t worry dad, I won’t keep you too long, and what I want to talk to you two about, will guarantee you and mom many more days like this... undisturbed.”
