Sakamo touched the phone and put the call over the loudspeaker. The worried voice of the Empress shouted, “Ryu! Are you alright? Your driver raised the alarm! What’s happening?”
“I am alright, my Empress. At least for the moment. I came to meet Hangaku-chan’s parents, and things got a little dangerous. Her father bribed me to get away from Hangaku, and he got angry when I accepted his cheque and invited Hangaku-chan to live with me. He called two of his security guys to recover his cheque and probably to beat me up. I was forced to call for help.”
“The nerve of that bastard! I am so going to ruin him! When I am finished with him, he won’t have anywhere to flee to and no one to call for help! I am going to kill him! Wait for me, Ryu! I will be there as fast as I can!”
