His brothers had gone back to Crescent Manor. They had spent a few hours showing Deacon around Moon Falls and getting him adjusted to being a werewolf. Of course, he wouldn’t be fully adjusted until he went and finally shifted. But that was beside the point. He was there, in Moon Falls now, and he was going to be constantly around Elle, the girl that he was so obviously in love with. Who happened to be his mate. He didn’t like any of it. He didn’t like any of it at all. Deacon Foy was supposed to be a very small problem that he could deal with.
