Elene's lips curled into a smile, her eyes taking in Forrest clad in nothing more than a pair of black silk pyjama pants, surrounded by a myriad flickering candles that cast a warm, golden glow across the room. She had no idea where he found that many candles in such a short time, but she couldn't help but appreciate the effort. Being a princess, countless suitors sought her favour in the past, yet not once had anyone gone to such lengths to make her feel special.
"Oh?" Elene turned away, and Forrest's heart skipped a beat. What if this was too much? What if he was too pushy and she wasn't ready? Did he misread her signals earlier?
