Marcus had bolted through the doors like no tomorrow. It turned out he didn't have to inform the King of anything because he'd been about to send out a search party to the warehouse which now was hopefully abandoned. His only concern was that Conrad was still out there somewhere and posed a threat to both werewolves and vampires, not to mention Ruby, if he was allowed to live.
